Clinic Information

The Pet Emergency Clinic (PEC) was established in 1977 to provide emergency and critical care during evenings, weekends, and holidays when many other regular veterinary clinics are typically closed.  Since then, we have expanded to include specialty services during weekday business hours.

Our primary function is to provide care for your critically ill or injured pet. PEC also offers care in the event of injury or illness that may not be life threatening, but is painful to your pet or a concern to your family.

  • Walk In Emergency Medical and Surgical Care

PEC is a walk in veterinary clinic that is open from 5 pm to 8 am on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and holidays.  When we are open we will always have a licensed veterinarian (all of whom are members of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society – VECCS) on the premises to exam your pet, and our specially trained staff is ready to provide timely and appropriate urgent care.

  • Diagnostics Aids on Premises

Supportive diagnostic aids, such as digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, electrocardiology, and other clinical laboratory equipment are on the premises of the PEC.  These are essential in providing the best possible care for your pet.

  • Continuing Care

PEC works closely with the local veterinarians in the area.  If a pet is currently being seen by your regular veterinarian and needs medical monitoring throughout the night, we are here for you.  We will be able to continue any treatments that are needed throughout the night to help provide your pet with the best possible care.

  • Specialty Clinics

During the weekday business hours, when PEC is closed, we offer several specialty services that are available by referral including: Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging, Small Animal Internal Medicine, and the Veterinary Surgical Specialists.
